What is CTR?

CTR is one of the key performance indicators in every digital marketing action. It is the percentage that indicates us if our campaigns are being relevant or not, as it compares the impressions and clicks received. In other words CTR is the frequency with which users have seen our ad and decide to click on it. 

CTR basically allows us to measure the performance of adds and keywords. It is calculated using this formula:



Therefore, if our ad is published 1000 times and we have received 50 clicks, our CTR is 5%. 

Furtheremore, if you have a high CTR, your ad is being relevant, but if your CTR is low, you must consider changing your ads and keywords. 

To conclude, CTR is the ratio that compares clicks to impressions and stands for Click Through Rate.
